My first international trip since before the pandemic saw me invited to attend to travel to Iceland as an invited speaker at the Nordtek conference, aimed at engineering educators. I have to say, it was a great event with perfect hospitality, even if the almost continual daylight hours take some getting used to.
I spoke about a selection of threats to engineering education, including contract cheating, artificial intelligence and mathematical problem solving software, all wrapped up with the idea that we need to think about how we prepare our students for the employment of the future.

I also took part in the closing panel discussion, although very few photos of me survived. The one below is about as good as it gets (also capturing the fact there was a student on the panel – which can only be a good thing).
